2022 was a big year for me as an artist, I guess you could say. I have always loved painting, drawing and photography. It seemed I could never carve out time for oil painting. I probably only did a hand full of them over the past 40 years. So, I made the decision to paint every Wednesday at Don Edwards “Nature’s Art Gallery”. What a great decision it was. It was there I also found out about Shreveport Photographic Society and I went to my first meeting and was hooked!

Like many life-long artists, I have received recognition for my accomplishments in both my personal and professional photography. In 2024 I was selected Artist of the Year for Toledo Bend Bass Unlimited Poster contest. I plan on adding both paintings and photos to this website on a regular basis. Thank you for visiting.
